โกFast & Furious, The ending of Furious 7 (2015) Dom and Brianโs final drive โSee You Againโ farewell. This is widely regarded as the single saddest and most emotional moment in the entire Fast & Furious franchise, both in-universe and in real life. Why it hits so hardAfter the final mission, Brian (Paul Walker) is shown happy with Mia and their son on the beach the life he always wanted. Dom (Vin Diesel) tries to leave without a proper goodbye. Brian catches up, and the two race one last time (echoing the original The Fast and the Furious drag race). As the road splits, Dom delivers the iconic lines:โYou once said you live your life a quarter-mile at a time. And I think thatโs why we were brothers. Because you were the same. โฆ No matter where you are, whether itโs a quarter mile away or halfway across the world. youโll always be with me. And youโll always be my brother.โ Brianโs car takes a different path as โSee You Againโ by Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth plays, followed by a montage of Brianโs best moments and the simple dedication โFor Paul.โ The real life weightPaul Walker died in a car accident in November 2013 during production of the film. The ending was rewritten as a respectful, heartfelt send-off. Vin Diesel has called it one of the greatest moments in cinematic history because it allowed audiences (especially men) to grieve together. The scene still makes people cry on rewatches years later.
